Once I sat beside the road,
But my Master passed by me
And said: "I still love you".
I lokked up in His smiling face,
Snug and cozy in His soft embrace,
I heard His still small voice:
"My grace is sufficient for you".
"It is not the end of the road for you"
He said,
"There is still much work that you can do"
"As my spirit take control of your life"
"You can still be the shining light"
His spirit gives me power and strength
for my journey below.
So that others can see, I continue to live.
To the honour of my Lord.
